Ride #1: Honda Gold Wing: Colorado Passes and Park Loop

Distance: 380 miles

  • Trail Ridge Road

Description:

Escape the mile high city and head for the mountains via Squaw Pass and up to Mount Evans, a 14,265’ mountain with epic riding up and down. You will carry on over Loveland Pass to bag your second mountain pass in the Honda Pass Bagger Challenge, aboard a beautiful Honda Gold Wing. Why not hit another two with Fremont Pass and Battle Mountain pass looping back towards Rocky Mountain National Park and Trail Ridge Road tagging three more passes. Finish this ride off heading into Boulder and back to the mile high city.

Ride #2: Honda Gold Wing: Northern Utah Tour

Distance: 470 miles

  • East Canyon State Park
  • Flaming Gorge Recreation Area
  • Starvation State Park
  • Deer Creek State Park

Description:

Flee from the city and head for the hills on the Honda Gold Wing. The first step along the way is East Canyon State Park and then you will heat up your ride with Flaming Gorge Recreation Area. It would be worth riding around the area if you have the time. After snapping your digital memory at Sheep Creek Overlook, you will begin the second half of the journey to Starvation State Park for more fun riding. To round this ride out, you will cruise back to the city and hit Deer Creek State Park along the way.

Ride #3: Honda Gold Wing: Southern Utah Loop

Distance: 540 miles

  • Bryce Canyon National Park
  • Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument
  • Capitol Reef National Park
  • Lake Powell - Hall’s Crossing Ferry
  • Zion National Park

Description:

Southern Utah is well-known for its out-of-this-world landscape and incredible national parks, this loop attempts to tag as many as possible to make for an amazing Gold Wing ride. Likely, you will want to break this ride into two days to absorb all that Utah has to offer. The ride will depart out of Cedar City and navigate through Cedar Break National Monument to Bryce Canyon National Park and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument for the first pass through here. Then you will head north through Capitol Reef National Park. After you will cruise to Hanksville and to Lake Powell, where you will need to take a Ferry at Hall’s Crossing. Following the ferry, the ride will bring excitement on the way back to Scenic Byway Highway 12 for your second pass through Bryce Canyon National Park and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The final part will take you through some epic riding and scenery down and through Zion National Park.

Ride #4: Honda Gold Wing: Old Faithful and Teton Loop

Distance: 532 miles

Description:

This route heads for Grand Teton National Park and around Yellowstone National Park which features some of the most incredible mountain in the US and there is no better bike than the Gold Wing to roll you through this ride. Head out of Jackson to Grand Teton National Park featuring the incredible Teton Mountain Range and then you will ride to Old Faithful and Yellowstone National Park. Take some time to check out the park and you will do a full loop around it on some enjoyable roads looping back to West Yellowstone. You will finish this ride back to Jackson on a fun little twisty road.

Ride #5: Honda Gold Wing: Four Corners Loop

Distance: 810 miles

  • Million Dollar Highway
  • Durango
  • Monument Valley
  • Four Corners
  • Telluride
  • Moab
  • Scenic Byway 128

Description:

This whole loop is quite large and we highly suggest taking the time to do it, it is amazing and even better from the comfort of a Gold Wing. Within this ride, you will tag multiple mountain passes, four states and plenty of unique landscape. The way the ride is built, you will depart and end in Grand Junction, CO and head south to the Million Dollar Highway, one of the most exposed roads in Colorado and is one of the most beautiful rides. Take safe and carry on through Durango into New Mexico and enjoy some fun roads looping over to Monument Valley in Arizona, also known as Forest Gump Hill. You will then head to Cortez and you could detour to check out Four Corners, where Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona all connect. If you are going to break this into two days, stay in the beautiful town of Telluride. The last part of this ride will include visiting Moab, the outdoor recreation destination. Here, you can also stay a day or a week visiting national parks and enjoying outdoor and offroad activities. This ride will carry on out of Moab on Scenic Byway 128 and finish up in Grand Junction.
